Tradera - Hardingfelesentrum
Granvin
Proposal for establishing a Hardanger Fiddle Centre in Granvin, the birthplace of the Hardanger Fiddle. The centre consists of a library containing the folkmusic archives, the administration of the Hardanger Fiddle association in Norway, a concert hall and small houses for practising and studying the music and tradition.
SCOUS BARNEBY
Schous Plass, Oslo
Proposal for urban development in Oslo focusing on social housing for families with children.
In addition to the urban plan the focus in this project has been developing building details for tall urban building in wood.
In this case we developed details for a totally new concept, heat treated oak cladding without rain gutters.

LAS PIEDRAS DEL CIELO
Ciudad Abierta, Chile
In 2012 a group of students from AHO worked together on designing and building three projects in Ciudad Abierta, outside Valparíso in Chile.
The project was AHO's entry for the RIBA silver medal award that spring, and was shortlistet twice.

KRYDSBY GÅRD
Bærum
TOTAL RENOVATION
Krydsby Gård was the main house at a farm in Rykkinn, Bærum. In 1880 the house was moved from Mellom-Isi to Rykkinn. In the 1960s Bærum municipality expropriated properties all over Rykkinn to expand dwelling areas - over 60 sites were divided from this property.
In 2008 we took over a house in very poor condition, and gave it a total renovation. We were awarded with Bergene Holm's Interior Award.
SELVÅG TRANSFORMED
Bærum
After the Second World War Norway's economy was strained, and people were in need of homes. Selvåg took it upon him to give people affordable homes by making narrow houses with a low second floor, and cutting back on materials. Still these houses can be seen all over Norway.
This is how we transformed a traditional Selvåg row-house into a modern apartment.
